In Transit

Made in 2017, during a tour as a musician around Northern Europe.

We make our temporary home in squats, scout huts, vicarages, apartments, back stage areas and in the van whilst travelling between shows.

Shot in black and white, these images resist the expectations of traditional band photography, rather these images depict encounters of a quiet observation of transitional habitats and the people who welcomed us along the way.

Channelling the influences of Jem Cohen, Anders Peterson and Ed ken, these pictures convey momentary encounters of a musician on the road.
